Man, the world is changing, food crisis is on the increase and we are therefore rushing things in our mouth too early. Yea yeah, our eating habits are really chnging getting meaner and stranger as the days go by and i the big kid have this for you.
Dame Penelope's Etiquette Tips
Mealtime Dilemmas

What's the polite way to get rid of food stuck in your teeth? Is it less rude to use a toothpick or to leave the dinner table?

* Never use a toothpick at the table. Try drinking water to dislodge it. If that doesn't do the trick, excuse yourself and take care of it in the restroom.

What should you do when you're at a nice restaurant and you see a bug? Should you warn others at the table or just keep quiet?

* Just ignore it, don't ruin everyone's appetite or mention it quietly to your waiter and let them take care of it. And then call the health department the next morning.

I like ordering dishes cooked with onions or garlic but how do you keep your breath from knocking over people?

* Chew and swallow some fresh parsley or rub a piece of lemon over your tongue and inside your mouth or use mints.

I have been divorced about a year and finally accepted an invitation to a dinner party, who should walk in? My ex and his new girlfriend! I was horrified and felt like a deer caught in the headlights. What should I do if this happens again?

* This seems inconsiderate of your host. Ask next time whether he has been invited, if so, don't go. In the meantime, act like you're having the time of your life!

Life of the 21st century seems to be no life at all cos you don't have time for yourself not to talk of time for others.Friends don't hook up like first, go for some drink-ups, get over together and laugh reminiscing on stuff but as the situations in life get hard, technology increases and one that really favour students and everyone is the mobile phone and SMS.
I have taken it upon myself to search for sms to show care and love and ... so you catch up even when you are not and keep you alive in someones mind.

1. Love the Opportunity by Jim Rohn

Somebody said you have to love what you do, but that's not necessarily true. What is true is that you have to love the opportunity. The opportunity to build life, future, health, success and fortune. Knocking on someone's door may not be something you love to do, but you love the opportunity of what might be behind that door.

For example, a guy says, "I'm digging ditches. Should I love digging ditches?" The answer is, "No, you don't have to love digging ditches, but if it is your first entry onto the ladder of success, you say, 'I'm glad somebody gave me the opportunity to dig ditches and I'm going to do it so well, I won't be here long.'"

You can be inspired by having found something; even though you are making mistakes in the beginning and even though it is a little distasteful taking on a new discipline that you haven't learned before. You don't have to love it, you just have to learn to appreciate America, appreciate opportunity and appreciate the person who brought you the good news; that found you.

Appreciate the person who believed in you before you believed in yourself, appreciate the person who said, "Hey, if I can do it, you can do it."

If you will embrace the disciplines associated with the new opportunity you will soon find that your self-confidence starts to grow, that you go from being a skeptic to being a believer. And soon when you go out person to person, talking to people, you will find it to be the most thrilling opportunity in the world. Every person you meet - what could it be? Unlimited! Maybe a friend for life. The next person could be an open door to retiring. The next person could be a colleague for years to come. It's big time stuff. And sometimes in the beginning when we are just getting started we don't always see how big it is.

So, before you are tempted to give up or get discouraged, remember all success is based on long term commitment, faith, discipline, attitude and a few stepping stones along the way. You might not like the stone you are on right now, but it's sure to be one of the stones that lead to great opportunities in the future.

its me again

halloo! don't shout don't ohh! please forgive me.Thank you for upholding the words of the Lord and not returning unkindness for unkindness just chill out with this piece from Denis Waitley.
Roots and Wings (A Child's Bedtime Song)

If I had two wishes, I know what they would be
I'd wish for Roots to cling to, and Wings to set me free;

Roots of inner values, like rings within a tree, and Wings of independence to seek my destiny.

Roots to hold forever to keep me safe and strong,
To let me know you love me, when I've done something wrong;

To show me by example, and help me learn to choose,
To take those actions every day to win instead of lose.

Just be there when I need you, to tell me it's all right,
To face my fear of falling when I test my wings in flight;

Don't make my life too easy, it's better if I try,
And fail and get back up myself, so I can learn to fly.

If I had two wishes, and two were all I had,
And they could just be granted, by my Mom and Dad;
I wouldn't ask for money or any store-bought things,

The greatest gifts I'd ask for are simply Roots and Wings.

leadership by example

A doctor and a friend were talking at a party. Their conversation was constantly interrupted by people describing their ailments and asking the doctor for free medical advice.
After an hour of this, the exasperated doctor asked the lawyer, "what do you do to stop people asking legal advice when you are out of office "
"i give it to them " replied the lawyer "and send them a bill". The doctor was shocked but agreed to give it a try.
The next day still feeling slightly guilty, prepared the bills. When he went to place them in the mail box he found a bill from the lawyer.
Ha!Ha! Ha!funny but have you heard of leadership by example.You may many a time be an expert in advising people, "do this! no, not that way", well it may be done but leadership by example causes it to be done and done right cos you've given them a reason to trust you and also you have given a format to be followed or developed upon.
Don't just tell or advice people , take the lead and show by example- send a bill

branding

Ever heard that to create a business you need to have a unique selling product or service , something that sets you apart from you competitors, something that they can trace and refer to you and you only.
Thats the way we should live our lives, give a unique piece of ourselves that no one can do- a branding.
For example, a friend o mine always washed the plates he found in the sink when he went to the kitchen even if he was tired or had something doing that whenever his mum came there and found the place so neat, she could say without a shadow of doubt that he'd been around OR
This friend of mine who one day for the sake of time couldn't do his homework so copied that of another was reprimanded not for wrong answers but because the teacher knew he had not done the work himself.
See thats the way our lives have to be a piece of ourselves in everything.Maybe, smile to everyone you meet, if asked to wash plates, you also dry them, you know youirself beter and know what yu can do to make you unique and special to others - DO THAT.
Brain teaser; What is it that married men give to their wives, the catholic priest have it but don't use it, Arnold Schwarzenegger has a long one?
Answer: Surname
